7 Thankful Day - Day 2

Today, and every day, I am thankful for my parents.  They are a constant source of strength and support.  My dad is one of the toughest men I have ever met.  He shoveled snow in shorts, beat cancer and survived living in the estrogen ocean.  The man is a saint. My mother is one of the strongest women I have ever met.  She always taught us the importance of finding a partner, not a provider. She empowered us to be independent and strong women, but showed us that even the strongest woman needs someone's hand to hold through the tough times. I learned so much from my parents and I am so thankful that Natalie will get to learn from them as well. I am thankful that my daughter has them as grandparents.

I know that if I am a fraction of the parent that my parents are, then Natalie will be one very lucky little girl.
